Lose weight – how far will you go
I have only just finished reading the “Sunday Times” (it can take ages!), and was very interested in an article by India Knight about losing weight. She describes an Austrian clinic where you have enemas and a virtual starvation diet.
It is written wittily (she is a great writer) but from the natural health point of view .. far too extreme for the body. Our bodies are not things to be bullied and starved, they are to be respected. We live with them in a deep sense, not against them
And, best of all, your body is naturally detoxing and losing weight in the Spring. It is much easier to work with what is happening naturally in your body at the right time of year.
Read India Knight’s article to see how far she is willing to go

I’ve never understood why people feel they have to suffer to feel better/lose weight. I found it far simpler to eat good food, run around more, and get enough sleep, but that would be too easy, wouldn’t it?!

No this hasn’t been posted anywhere else! The main problem with a straightforward eat-less exersize-more diet is that it is common sense, and we often want more than that.
